Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Dear Breakfast handles information shared through our website, Facebook, Instagram and automated customer-assistance services.

Who we are
Dear Breakfast is a brunch and cafe located on Street 16, Lakeside, Pokhara, Gandaki, Nepal. For privacy questions, contact hello@dearbreakfastnepal.com.
Information we receive
We receive information that you choose to send us, including:
- Messages, comments, questions and feedback sent through our website or social-media accounts.
- Reservation or support details such as your name, phone or WhatsApp number, preferred date and time, party size and special requests.
- Facebook and Instagram information needed to operate replies: message or comment text, sender profile or account identifier, profile name or username when supplied, media or comment identifiers, timestamps, attachment metadata and delivery or interaction status.
We do not request payment-card details through our automated assistant.
How we use information
- To answer questions about Dear Breakfast, our menu, location, hours and services.
- To forward reservation and special-request details to our team for confirmation and follow-up.
- To operate, protect, troubleshoot and improve our customer-assistance services.
- To comply with legal obligations and prevent misuse.
Submitting a reservation request does not create a confirmed booking. Our team must confirm it separately.
Automation and service providers
Messages may be processed by OpenAI and Google artificial-intelligence services so we can prepare a relevant response or route a request. We use a self-hosted n8n workflow system and may use Google Sheets, email, Slack and Telegram to notify staff and keep operational records. Our website also relies on cloud hosting and security providers.
These providers process information to deliver services for us and may operate in countries outside Nepal. We limit the information sent to what is reasonably needed for the customer request and service operation.
Facebook and Instagram process information under their own terms and privacy policies when you use those platforms.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with Dear Breakfast staff and service providers who need it to answer, confirm or manage your request, or when disclosure is required by law.
We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for customer service, reservations, security, record-keeping and legal obligations. Retention periods may vary by system and type of request.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct or delete information you have shared with us. See our Data Deletion Instructions or email us. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
You can also manage connected apps through your Facebook or Instagram account settings.
Children and updates
Our automated customer-assistance service is not directed to children. We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change. The effective date above shows the latest version.
